Can I trade Dappervolk codes for other codes or in game items?
Trading codes for other codes or other game items/currency is do-at-your-own-risk. Meaning there will be no mod to fix a transaction gone awry.
This is also only allowed if it isn’t against the other game’s ToS.

What should I do if I forgot to designate my tier choice for the Early Sparrow tier (or) my shipping details for one of the Merchandise tiers?
Don’t worry about it if you forgot or missed the comments field where you could type in this information during the purchasing process! We will be sending out surveys to everyone who purchased these tiers, so we can gather any pertinent information that we may still need from you.

How will you contact us if we purchased one of the "Design a ___" tiers?
We will be sending out surveys to all backers of these tiers to gather your preferred contact information and begin a dialogue with you about starting up the design process.

Why are the prices listed in CAD?
Because Dappervolk is based in Canada, Kickstarter requires us to price our campaign tiers in Canadian Dollars (CAD). However, we understand that the majority of our players are from the United States and won’t necessarily be familiar with pricing in CAD. Because of this, we have included US Dollar (USD) estimates in our graphics and text for reference. Unfortunately, the USD prices shown here are only estimates and are subject to change due to the nature of fluctuating exchange rates between CAD and USD. When our campaign launches, Kickstarter will be handling all of the currency conversions and will charge you in your local currency according to the exchange rates at that time.

What payment methods are you accepting?
Kickstarter only allows payments through debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), however there is a potential solution for Paypal-only users that live in the United States. Paypal offers something called Paypal Extras MasterCard for US residents, which you may apply for through your Paypal account. You will receive a MasterCard credit card and number attached to your Paypal account, which can then be used to make purchases anywhere that MasterCard is accepted. However, please make sure that you look into this service thoroughly before attempting to sign up for it, as we cannot guarantee that it will be appropriate for everyone.
Note: Kickstarter does not accept Maestro or Visa Electron, despite the fact that they are owned by MasterCard and Visa respectively.

When can we redeem our Kickstarter rewards?
If you choose to back our campaign, you will receive reward codes that can be redeemed onsite. Each code will be usable once during our Beta testing phase and once when the site officially opens. If you redeem your code(s) during Beta, you will temporarily get to play with the rewards onsite until Beta closes. Afterward, they will be wiped from your account and you will need to redeem them again for permanent assets once the site officially opens.

Do we get to keep anything if we sign up for your Beta testing phase?
Anyone that registers during our Beta testing phase will retain their account (username/ID#) and login information after the testing period is over - everything else onsite will be wiped. This means that everyone will be starting fresh from the character creation screen when the site officially launches, regardless of when you registered for an account.

What is the "pet recipe" reward in some of the tiers?
In the Obsidian Dragon and Jeweled Unicorn tiers, you may have noticed that they include a “pet recipe” reward. These are single-use items that you can apply to your account, which will unlock the ability for you to alchemize the associated legendary pet at the site’s Alchemy Engine. These alchemy recipes will call for: 1 Opal Valkyrie (or) 1 Onyx Dragonlet pet, as well as 4 other fantastical rarity pets that will be obtainable onsite. The 5 pets will magically combine together to create the associated legendary pet that the tier was themed after (Obsidian Dragon or Jeweled Unicorn).
Note: Pets that are alchemized are consumed in the process, creating a brand new pet that is rarer and has more powerful stats.

What's the difference between Backerkit Add-ons and the Post-Kickstarter store?
The Post-kickstarter store will be open for 2 weeks after the Kickstarter ends and is a way for us to allow paypal fans to also back the project. Tiers available will be our remaining unlimited tiers at the same prices with the same contents.
Add-ons are part of the survey all backers (including post-kickstarter store backers) will get and allows people to add extras to their pledge for the prices listed after their pledge goes through!

Can I sell my pledge to someone for IRL currency?
Trading Dappervolk codes/currency/items/pledges for RL money is against our game’s ToS.
So yes, selling your pledge in the Kickstarter for RL currency counts as selling Dappervolk content for RL currency and is against our site rules.

I guest pledged for more than one merchandise tier, will I need to pay double the shipping?
We’re planning to group all merchandise going to the same address as one package, this means that we may need to manually refund you some shipping if you guest pledged for more than one merchandise tier on the Kickstarter campaign. Send us an inquiry via Backerkit to get this sorted out!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
